TECHNOLOGY AS AN ENABLER FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG)
In 2015, the United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals. Seventeen points define the global priorities and aspirations for 2030. These priorities require action on a worldwide scale by governments, companies, and civil society to eradicate – or reduce on a large scale – problems such as poverty, gender inequality, armed conflicts, and hunger, as well as promoting growing economies based on sustainable pillars, effective healthcare and quality education for all.
The agenda – adopted by all countries – establishes an easy-to-understand framework for the complex path that must be followed to achieve the much-desired global Sustainability. The goals were divided by targets and indicators to facilitate understanding between all involved. Even so, the knowledge and action of public and private organizations are not yet proactive.
We invite all of our customers and partners to join this journey. Please navigate the list of Sustainable Development Goals and see how using Quidgest products can help you meet the United Nations’ goals.
