Quidgest at Future.Works Lisbon 22
Future.Works Lisbon 22, promoted by Landing Jobs and imatch, took place on October 7 and 8, at the Lisbon Congress Center.
The event was full of lectures and workshops led by more than 150 speakers and world experts, providing participants with many opportunities for networking, employment sessions, qualification, and recruitment, as well as moments of fun.
Sónia Fernandes represented Quidgest, Software Developer and Genio Trainer at Quidgest, who delivered the workshop “Genio: why low-code if you can model?”. The session had 15 participants, with the most varied interests and professional backgrounds, an experience as challenging as positive, according to Sónia Fernandes: “The room was full, and it was very good to talk to an audience interested in innovation, technology, and the trends that anticipate the future of work. It was possible to explain the origin of the Genio platform and approach the whole part of code generation and used languages – for those more curious about the computer engineering part. Still, there was also room to show what Genio does and its advantages for people and organizations from all business branches in terms of speed in project development, evolutionary maintenance, interoperability, functionality, and differentiation concerning traditional low-code platforms”.
Sónia Fernandes believes that Quidgest’s presence at the event exceeded all expectations: “It allowed us to interact with professionals from the world of robotics, automation systems, RPA, and design, which allowed us to meet many people from other areas of knowledge outside IT, going through a career transition and now focused on embracing a new opportunity in the technology area. Contact with younger generations and educational institutions was also extremely important, to which we are always open to a possible partnership for internships or training in Genio! In short: it was a privilege to share our work at Quidgest_Academy and very rewarding to make myself known as a Genio Trainer to the technological and digital community.”
Besides Sónia Fernandes, Quidgest was represented at Future Works Lisbon 22 by João Nobre, Growth Manager at Quidgest, Inês Bastos, People Operations Specialist at Quidgest, André Jorge, R&D Project Manager at Quidgest, and Kartikey Bajpai, Business Development Associate at Quidgest.
