CINEL and Quidgest Promote Training in Software Development
“Agile Creation of Information Systems” is the name of the innovative professional training that will take place next June in CINEL – Vocational Training Center of Electronics, Energy, Telecommunications and Information Technologies Industry.
Aimed at young people, preferably graduates of any area, it seeks to expand job opportunities in information technology, even for those who do not have technical training in computer science.
It is estimated that there is going to be a lack of 700,000 to one million programmers in Europe by 2020.
Quidgest believes that if programming was made using modeling (based on 4.0 industry) and then the code was generated automatically instead of manually, this lack would not be as big.
CINEL, as it has already been in other areas such as robotics, aims to be a benchmark in the training of professionals for the software industry of the future and embark on the path of automation, expecting to contributing to the employability of the youth. After a theoretical and practical training in classrooms for two weeks, students will develop, during a period of 3 months, in several companies, an activity in a work context, with the aim of designing and offering an information system.
