Community Manager

As a Community Manager, your goal is to advocate for Genio Platform, actively drive, grow, and manage a developer community, bring external perspectives into the company, engage and build relationships with the whole community, create and share content.

You’re passionate about the opportunity to shape the future of how people use and build technology code free.

You’ll develop, organize, manage and communicate local engagement campaigns, establishing the strategy, mapping stakeholders, driving and facilitating alignment in cross-functional campaigns, organizing events and acting as the local contact point for the invitations for engagement that we get from these communities.

What you will do

  • Represent Genio Platform by proactively drive, grow and manage a developer community
  • Work closely with the community, creating multi moments of interaction and shared feedback such as meetups, contents, conferences, social events, hackathons and more
  • Design, build and execute strategic programming to build a world-class community, in liaison with our CTO and board
  • Launch and manage end-to-end community program
  • Be the Platform face and support overall company hiring initiatives
  • Communicate program strategy with the business to ensure alignment
  • Foster relationships with community leaders and partners to build strong partnerships
  • Develop scalable programs across Europe by partnering with satellite offices on administering the program initiatives
  • Use a data-driven approach to design effective evaluations and measure program metrics closely
  • Create, manage and share Platform content, such as blogs, social media, PR and more;

What to bring

  • Experience in designing, launching, evaluating and leading community programs or projects successfully
  • Ideally, 1 year of experience within events management, program/product management and/or community management
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Self-starter comfortable leading through ambiguity to define clear roadmaps and processes
  • Great planning and time management skills
  • Strong critical thinking and writing skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and obstacles
  • Leadership presence and credibility to interact with all levels of employees and partners, including senior leaders
  • Proven team player with excellent presentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders on executing strategies that deliver results
  • Knowledge of technology related to the use of code platforms (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience in managing a community; have worked in cross-functional projects and managing campaigns and events
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and sometimes stressful environment
  • Effective analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail
