In the ceremony held at the Ministry of Finance of Jamaica, on March 6th, 2017, the Minister of State and Public Service, Fayval Williams, the Deputy Financial Secretary, Wayne Jones, and the Director of the Transformation Implementation Unit, Maria Thompson Walters, unveiled the name and the logo of the new Human Capital Management System (HCMES), developed by Quidgest for the Government of Jamaica: My HR+.

The implementation of the first phase of My HR+, in public sector entities across Jamaica, is already underway and will be completed by the end of 2017. Fourteen ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) across the country were selected to be the first to use the human resources and payroll platform of My HR+, specifically developed to meet the Jamaican government’s needs.

The system was developed using GENIO, Quidgest’s agile “xtreme low-code” platform, and is based on MVC.net technology, which allows the user to access the system through several devices, including mobile phones. It was designed to meet the highest standards and practices, based on innovation and quality, making it one of the most modern and forward-looking HR management integrated systems in the market.
